The OHSU Department of Medicine places high priority on the development of faculty as clinicians, scholars, educators, mentors, leaders and advocates. Faculty development begins at hire and supports our faculty through the arc of their career, drawing on departmental, School of Medicine, and institution-wide resources and collaborations.

DOM faculty development initiatives and resources
On-boarding Program Beginning in 2024 we will welcome new/recently hired DOM faculty with a two-day workshop where faculty will learn about important departmental and institutional resources, preview opportunities, and build community.
Grand Rounds Planning Committee This committee, convened in May 2024, is dedicated to organizing a vibrant, diverse and inclusive Grand Rounds series supporting education and building community across all DOM Divisions with engaging presentations and interactive Q&A.
