Would you be surprised if we said that faculty, not just students, stand to benefit from academic support services like content tutoring and writing support? Morgan Gross and Zoe Speidel Douglas, from the Academic Success Center, will share what happens in writing and tutoring sessions and will elaborate on how everyone can benefit from these resources - for example, by reinforcing content covered in the classroom or helping students identify focused questions to bring to faculty. Participants will leave with a better understanding of the symbiotic relationship between classroom instruction and tutoring.
Presented by Morgan Gross, Ph.D., ASC Tutor Program Coordinator and Zoe Speidel-Douglas M.A., ASC Writing Specialist
Presented in collaboration with the Office of Educational Improvement and Innovation.
