Faculty Development Summit and Faculty Development Awards

This year's Faculty Development Summit will convene faculty development stakeholders from across OHSU School of Medicine departments and institutes for a half-day of peer-to-peer learning, discussion, discovery and planning.

The Summit will also include an Awards Ceremony to recognize individuals who have excelled in developing the skills and competencies of School of Medicine faculty across a number of domains. Details for each award, as well as the process for nominating individuals, can be found using the link above.

Summit date: Friday, May 23, 8 a.m. - noon

CV/EP Drop-in Sessions

Space will be reserved for a three-hour block of time for SoM faculty to update their Curriculum Vitae (CV) and Educator's Portfolio (EP). Drop-in during any point and stay for as long as they would like. Sample CV's and EP's of existing OHSU faculty at different career stages will be made available.

P&T Peer Mentorship Program

The aim of the P&T Peer Mentorship program is to provide promotion and tenure focused mentorship to faculty at the assistant professor level who are seeking advice and assistance through the latter stages of the promotion and tenure process. Mentors will work with faculty who are actively preparing their promotion and tenure application for a limited number of sessions focused on the preparation of the CV, educator’s portfolio and personal statement, and to act as a thinking partner as mentees consider rating their academic achievements as satisfactory or substantial.
