Advocacy and Community Engagement
OCCYSHN is Oregon's Title V public health agency for children and youth with special health needs (CYSCHN). Our focus is on doing what's best for Oregon's kids. To that end we have strong relationships with local public health agencies across the state. We also partner with the Maternal Child Health Division of the Oregon Health Authority, and the federal Maternal and Child Health Bureau. Our work includes advocating for CYSHCN care needs at every level: from individual; to community; to policy.
