Dr. Norman is from New Orleans, Louisiana (where we make gumbo at!). She completed her undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University and earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy at Xavier University of Louisiana. During pharmacy school, she was an intern at Childrens Hospital of New Orleans (CHNOLA) where she developed an interest in pediatrics and hospital pharmacy. After graduating in May 2022, she worked at CHNOLA as an inpatient staff pharmacist where she recognized her passion for process improvement and optimizing technologies in the healthcare setting. She completed a PGY1 residency at Oregon Health & Science University and is now pursuing a PGY2 in informatics. Dr. Norman currently serves on the advisory group for the Section of Pharmacy Informatics and Technology (SOPIT) with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). Her major research project is the implementation and evaluation of compounding and repackaging (CNR) in an outpatient pharmacy. In her free time, she likes to cook, bake, watch live music events, and travel!
