Courtney Flowers
Courtney is a proud Oregon Duck alumna and received her Master's in English from Portland State University. After living in San Diego, Louisiana, and Hawaii, she is happy to be back in the beautiful northwest. She loves Law & Order, politics, sports, and her rambunctious Labradoodle, Zoey. A dream of hers is to be on the Amazing Race, despite her fear of heights, selective eating, and lack of map reading skills. Courtney is thankful for the opportunity to get to know residents and loves investing in resident wellness and helping residents achieve their future work and personal goals.

Being a native Oregonian, Maria enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle; hiking, camping, kayaking, snowboarding.
Education Coordinator
Brittany Buckwalter

She is passionate about resident wellness and is often found helping plan wellness gatherings, hosting summer barbeques, and Thanksgiving meals for the residents. In her free time, she enjoys trying new eateries in Portland, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family.
Residency Program Coordinator
Jennifer Parnell
Jennifer grew up and live in St. Helens, OR. She worked within the Department of Family Medicine for over 20 years and has always enjoyed working with and supporting the residents and residency team. Jennifer's so excited to be a part of the Portland Residency administrative team and is looking forward to working with all of you. In her free time she loves just about anything that gets her outside, especially if the sun is shining, working in the yard, going camping or being out on the boat.
Residency Quality Coordinator
Jen Gobel
Jen grew up in sunny Tucson, AZ before moving to southern California where she earned her B.A. in Business Administration from the University of San Diego. In her free time, you can find her Uber-ing her kids around town, reading the latest true-crime novel, or scrolling online looking at houses she can’t afford. Jen was a surgical medical coder at OHSU for over a decade before transitioning to her role in Family Medicine. She really enjoys the opportunity to work with a fabulous team of residents and faculty and particularly looks forward to Match Day to reveal who the next group of rising OHSU physicians will be!
Director of Education
Danni Hodges
Danni earned a B.A. in Psychology and French from Indiana University. She spent several years managing camps and conference centers across the state of Indiana before exploring her true passion: healthcare. After spending time in direct patient care settings, she has found her niche working with residents and the talented administrative team who keeps everything running smoothly. When she's not working, she can be found chasing her energetic son and puppy around the park, forcing her husband to expand his culinary horizons, or reading a good book.
