UCEDD webinars

OHSU UCEDD partners and community board members had growing concerns about emergency preparedness in 2020 after a pandemic and many large wildfires left people feeling unsettled. We began by partnering with the University of Southern California UCEDD at Children's Hospital Los Angeles to host an Emergency Preparedness webinar for people with disabilities. Then, after a winter of severe storms and early extreme heat waves in the Pacific Northwest, we hosted a second webinar in 2022 "Emergency Preparedness: Heat Waves, Wildfire and Power Outages” in partnership with Oregon Self-Advocacy Coalition members and expert Donna Harris. Both webinar recordings are below.
