Ophthalmic Imaging
The OHSU Casey Eye Institute's ophthalmic imaging service uses photography and ultrasound images to provide vital information for diagnosing and treating eye conditions and diseases. Ophthalmic imaging also supports the physicians in clinical studies, research, publications and education.

Photography
The Ophthalmic Photography service at the OHSU Casey Eye Institute provides diagnostic and documentary imaging of both anterior and posterior segments in children and adults.

- Standard and wide-field posterior segment OCT

- Intraoperative retinal photography, angiography, and spectral domain OCT imaging
Ultrasound
The Diagnostic Ultrasound service at the OHSU Casey Eye Institute uses standardized echography, an important adjunct to computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). It is essential in diagnosing vitreoretinal disorders, tumors of the eye and orbit, and eye trauma. These services are provided for infants, children and adults.
Patient care services include:
- Biometric ruling and IOL calculations
- Diagnostic A and B scan ultrasonography
- High frequency ultrasound biomicroscopy for anterior chamber imaging
